Ethnic Hairstyles

While reading my Twitter feed, I noticed a trend in others asking for more hairstyles, particularly Afro or Ethnic hairstyles.

I'll be honest with you. I am mixed (half-black, half-white) so I kind of feel like my hair is a crazy melting pot of textures.

If it's wet, it's smooth. Then it curls into itself. If I didn't apply moisturizer to it (or anything at all), it's kinky, dry, and really hard to comb. Also, it poofs into a curly afro.

It takes some time to actually do my hair. I actually straighten mine a good lot because after that, it's easier for me to take care of. I see it as both a blessing an a curse.

I love all the hairs in The Sims 4. On that note, I would definitely like to see more hairstyles on the more ethnic side. The Modding Community has done really well on that front, too.

Here are some visuals of what I would like to see.

Here's one that particularly caught my eye because it's kinda... part up, most down with very tight curls. I really like that.

Kinky with a loose curl!

This one's my favorite one. I've never had this hairstyle personally but it looks so pretty! If I ever did my hair with extensions, it would look like this.

Examples of natural-looking Ethnic hairstyles. Or what I think it looks like (I can be wrong, too!) It varies for everyone.

The last one reminds me of my hair when it's combed out but not straightened.

A longer one!

I personally think this one's adorable.

So there are the few ideas I've had. There are definitely a LOT more where those came from, because everyone does their hair differently. If you have an idea or a way for me to improve, shoot my Twitter!

Cars, Trucks, Bikes, and the Like! (Part One) (UPDATE)

Having cars in The Sims 4 would be another Christmas to me. I loved how it worked in The Sims 2. You had your car in the driveway, your Sim got in it, backed out, drove until they were off screen, and it loaded you via screen into the next destination. In Sims 3, your Sim actually drove all the way there. I loved that too, but I will say that it did not help my older laptop (R.I.P. Toshiba Satellite) perform very well graphically. Since The Sims 4 seems to have been made to target more (and lower performing) desktops and laptops, I think if cars were introduced into the game, then they would work like in Sims 2, except with a little longer driving time. I can imagine cars being added to either a game pack, or a full expansion. Part of me would like to see it in a game pack because then it would be the focus and not just an additive. It wouldn't be just cars. Bikes, motorcycles, trikes (for the toddlers) scooters, and other economical ways should be a part of it, too! If...
